Mr. Phillip Wayne McClerkin, 52, of Antioch, Tennessee passed away Thursday June 2, 2022.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00PM Saturday June 11, 2022 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home from 11:00AM until 12:00 Noon.
Phillip Wayne McClerkin was born January 26, 1970 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Anna Jean McClerkin-Omobragbon and George Nesby.
Phillip had an infectious smile, he often enjoyed good company. Upon entrance the first thing he would ask you “WHO YOU WIT!” He was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and he enjoyed playing football for the Huntingdon Mustangs. He enjoyed fishing and being around Family! He was a friend, but also such a good friend to everybody he met. His personality was electric and his Heart was huge.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Sherry McClerkin;brothers:Courtneyand LaRay McClerkin; He leaves behind his father: George Nebsy (Starr);brother:Robert Anthony McClerkin; sister: Qiana Ford; son: Quinton McClerkin (Samantha); daughter: Shanterian Strayhorn; granddaughters Quiana Strayhorn and A’Mia McClerkin; He also leaves a host of aunts,uncles, cousins family and friends.
