Obituary
Mr. Richard Daniels, 76, of Holladay, Tennessee passed away Thursday April 27, 2023 at Life Care Center.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie, and his family and friends.
Richard Daniels was a longtime resident of the southernmost tip of Benton County. Originally from Indiana, Richard worked his career in the steel fabrication industry. He was an instrumental welder and constructor of the Tennessee River I-40 bridge where he eventually suffered a back injury and retired to his home overlooking the bridge he helped build. Richard enjoyed helping neighbors and watching and feeding wildlife that surrounded his humble abode near the Tennessee National Wildlife Rufuge. Richard was a dear friend to all those in the community and oftentimes known as the key figure to look after local houses for weekenders. His loyalty and dedication to friends and family was insurmountable. We’ll certainly miss the talented man that you could always count on to be there in a time of need.
