Mr. Robert “Bob” Eldon Espey, 83, of Atwood, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Milan First United Methodist Church. Reverend Marty Arnold officiating.
Bob was born October 3, 1941 in Huntingdon to the late Eldon Espey and Pauline Espey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his late wife, Gail B. Espey; two sisters, Joyce Cole and Jean Fields; one brother, Ronnie “Ron” Espey.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Espey; one son, Robert Brian Espey of Atwood, Tennessee; two daughters, Sandy Gail (James W. Jr.) Hagey of Nashville, Tennessee and Mary Grace (Tony) Barrios of Atwood, Tennessee; Judy’s daughter, Kim (John David) Rosdeutscher; one sister, Eleanor Jane Overby of Jonesboro, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Conor Espey, David Espey, Savannah Hagey, Molly Hagey, Samuel Hagey, Nate Barrios, Sarah Barrios, Jordan (Heather) Rosdeutscher and Noah Rosdeutscher ; one great-granddaughter, Galilea “Lele” Dean.
