On Wednesday June 22, 2022, Roger Todd Hacke (69) of Paris, Tennessee passed peacefully in his sleep, next to his loving wife, Patricia.
Roger Todd Hacke was born May 22, 1953 in Waukegan, Illinois. He spent the majority of his life in the Lake County area supporting his family and friends. He was a skilled mechanic that could fix anything, and could often be found at the race track or under a car jovially looking for his next problem to solve.
Roger was warm, welcoming, and relentlessly upbeat. He was incredibly selfless and would always look for the best in other people. Roger was no stranger to hard work, often doing his share and then doing for others what they could not do for themselves. He really was a man of a bygone era, one where people trusted each other and looked out for each other.
He enjoyed golfing, restoring cars, and going to auctions to look for something “he couldn’t live without.” He enjoyed having his brothers close by. He loved his dogs Micala and Buddy.
He will fondly be remembered by those who knew him and by more than a few punched out small blocks.
He leaves behind his wife Patricia, and his five children; Chrissy (Jarrod) Goodrich, Todd (Justine) Hacke, Tracy (Joe) Tanking, Anicia (Jeremy) Morgenthaler, Alisa (Cente) Moreno, and his host son Alex Leloup.
His fourteen grandchildren; Josh, Jenna, Julia Ehredt,
Abby, Olivia, Brandon Goodrich,
Theodore Hacke,
Julea, Jocelinn, Jilyan, and Jace Reid,
Emmalinn, and Evangeline Moreno.
Along with his two great grandchildren; Aleena and Jack Ehredt.
He is also survived by his siblings; Robin (Carla) Hacke, Polly (Al) Zyss, Scott (Debbie) Hacke, and Becky Hacke.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Jean Hacke, and brothers Danny and Mickey Hacke.
