Ronnie Linn Farris

Ronnie Linn Farris, 59, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown.

There will be a visitation at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 4:30PM until 8:00PM.

Ronnie was born June 30, 1961 in Benton, Kentucky to the late Ennis Ray Farris and JoAnn Weatherford. He moved to Paris, TN when he was young. Ronnie married Shairon Briley Farris on October 18, 2008. He was a semi truck driver for over 35 years, heavy equipment operator,  did construction and could build anything, commercial fisherman and  diver. He loved long rides on his Harley, loved to work in his garden barefooted, he was learning to make his own herbal remedies and making wine. He loved learning new things, especially if they were outdoors. He also loved to talk, and would talk to anyone about anything for hours. Ronnie loved spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Farris, his step-mother, Lois Farris, and his step-sister, Georgia Heugel.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sharion Farris of Paris; one son Ronnie Ray (Michelle) Farris of Clarksville, TN; one grandson, Austin Farris; one granddaughter, Jacie Farris; sister Bobbie Jean (Brian) Farris of Sandoval, IL; two brothers Keith (Christy) Farris of Clarksburg, TN and Clarence Stephens, Jr. of IL; two nephews, Andy Von Burg and Zach Farris; three nieces, Allie Von Burg, Carley Farris, and Sarina Hua; one step-daughter Sherry (Henry) Walton; one step-son Dallas (Sherry) Shannon; four step-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; one step-sister, Eva (Paul) Burr; and the second love of his life, his dog Windy.

Ronnie is to be buried in Echols, KY next to his father.
