Brother Rufus L. Chandler, 74 of McKenzie passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Humbles Chapel Cemetery. Brother Lynn Stapleton is officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM.

Brother Chandler was born on February 21, 1947 in Huntingdon, TN to the late George Weldon Chandler and Martha Maydean Richardson Chandler. He was a Missionary Baptist Minister for over 45 years serving several churches, and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sue Chandler, and his daughter Paula Renee Chandler.

He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Chandler of Readyville, TN; a son, Terry (Lisa) Chandler of Murfreesboro, TN; and 2 grandchildren, Nicole (Dustin) Arnold and Kyle Chandler.
