Ruth Carol (Gaskins) Savage

Mrs. Ruth Carol Savage, 66, of Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at her residence.

Memorial visitation will be at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Savage was born February 7, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to the late Cleo Gaskins and Maelean Dunn. She is also preceded in death by sisters, Pamela Bogash and Anna Gaskins and brother, John Gaskins.

Mrs. Savage is survived by husband, Wayne Newsome of Huntingdon, Tennessee; daughters, Miranda (Emily) Savage of Ludlow, Kentucky; Katherine (Keith) Gilmer of Conway, Arkansas; sons, Fred Savage Jr. of Henry, Tennessee, Matthew (Vickie) Savage of Sherwood, Arkansas; brother, Melvin (Rosie) Gaskins of Gary, Indiana; and by eight grandchildren.
