Sammy Edwards

Mr. Sammy Edwards, 78, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday May 10, 2024 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday May 12, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Sunday from 12:00PM until 2:00PM.

Mr. Edwards was born August 25, 1945 to the late Raymond Edwards and Etta Sue Rumley Edwards. Preceded in death by one sister Brenda Edwards; three brothers Larry Edwards, Thomas Edwards and Richard Edwards. Member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Edwards; one daughter Sherry (Billy) Davidson of Huntingdon, Tennessee; three sisters Jane (Gr) Hays of Lavinia, Tennessee, Ruth Berry of Three Way, Tennessee and Debbie (David) Little of Huntingdon, Tennessee; two brothers Jimmy (Cindy) Edwards of Medina, Tennessee and Tony (Kathy) Edwards of Trezevant, Tennessee; two grandchildren Lauren (Josh) Guinn and Katie (Cody) Davidson; six great-grandchildren Cadence, August, Kelsey, Norah, Milo and Huxton.
