Mrs. Sarah Williams Johnson, 85, of Drummonds, Tennessee passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Oak Haven Assisted Living in Huron, Tennessee.
Sarah Williams Johnson was the youngest of three daughters born to Clarence and Mary Keziah Blount Williams on August 29, 1940, in Westport, Tennessee.
Sarah attended the local elementary school and graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1958. Upon high school graduation, she attended West Tennessee Business College in Jackson, Tennessee. She began working at the Jackson Clinic as a medical transcriptionist and worked as such at various health systems in the mid-South. Sarah obtained certification as an accredited medical records technician and worked briefly for the State of Tennessee until health issues brought about her early retirement.
Sarah married Billy Ray Johnson and they lived in Jonesboro, Arkansas. They were members of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy Ray Johnson, and her sisters, Helen Thweatt and Mary Jean Pinkley.
Relatives surviving are nieces Peggy Cooper (Larry, deceased) of Drummonds, Tennessee, Robbie Reves (Joe) of Collierville, Tennessee, and Susan Tacker (Doug) of Aurora, Missouri; one great niece, three great nephews; seven great-great nieces and two great-great nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
