Shane Cox

Mr. Shane David Cox, 51, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Saturday March 23, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Wednesday March 27, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Wednesday from 9:00AM until time of services.

Mr. Cox was born January 8, 1973. Preceded in death by his mother Ruth Hall Rochelle; sister Robyn Carroll.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Cox of Bruceton, Tennessee; two daughters Kaitlyn (Austin Starr) Cox of Bruceton, Tennessee and Kristen Cox of Camden, Tennessee; father Richard Cox of Big Sandy, Tennessee; four sisters Dawn (Randall) Patterson of Jackson, Tennessee, Shawn Sumner of Martin, Tennessee, Christy (Luke) Cain of Medina, Tennessee and Brittany (Warren) Neely of Milan, Tennessee; one brother Adam Lowery of Massachusetts; two grandchildren Riley Kate Starr and William Waylon Starr; 13 nieces and nephews.
