Obituary
Mrs. Shirley Kay Higdon, 59, of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Wednesday August 2,2023 at Henry County Medical center.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday August 5, 2023 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery McKenzie. Brother Matthew Owens officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and on Saturday from 9:00AM until time of services.
Mrs. Higdon was born November 26, 1963 to the late Buford Clement and Dora Stone Clement. She was preceded in death by one daughter Sherrill Nicole Higdon; one sister Linda Clement.
She is survived by her loving husband Andrew Higdon of McKenzie, Tennessee; two daughters Jenifer (Shaine) Matte, of Martin, Tennessee, Jessica (Chase) Hicks of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sons Cody Higdon of McKenzie, Tennessee, Andy (Tiffany) Higdon of McKenzie, Tennessee and David (Summer) Davis of Hollow Rock, Tennessee; four sisters Betty (Marvin) Watson of McKenzie, Tennessee, Mary Lou Crocker of McKenzie, Tennessee, Barbara (Timmy) Reed of McKenzie, Tennessee and Margie (Bobby) Bush of McKenzie, Tennessee; four brothers Billy (Henri) Clement of McKenzie, Tennessee, James Dean (Sheila) Clement of Gleason, Tennessee, Elvis (Mary Ann) Clement of Gleason, Tennessee and Johney (Heather) Clement of Gleason, Tennessee; 23 grandchildren.
