Steve Yates Obituary

Mr. Steve Yates, 73, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2021 at Jackson-Madison General Hospital.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday September 18, 2021 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM.

Committal service will be 10:30 AM Monday, September 20, 2021 at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.

Mr. Yates was born to the late Maurice Lamar Yates and Florrie Carter Yates. He was co-owner of Parker’s Crossroads RV Park and a Army Veteran.

He is survived by his partner, Mike Umstead of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister Valerie (Robbie) Ellis of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and one brother William (Pam) Yates of Kingston, Ohio.
