Suzanne "Suz" Rezac-Seat Obituary

Mrs. Suzanne “Suz” Rezac-Seat, 36, of Huntingdon, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 4:00PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Pastor Alex Gallien is officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 1:00PM until services at 4:00PM.

The family requests that all who attend, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Suz was born on April 19, 1985 in Dyersburg, TN to Jerry Lynn Seat and Susan Ann McDearmon Seat. She was a native of Newbern, TN. After an outstanding prep career at Dyer County High School, she signed with the Lady Wildcat basketball program. Seat was 4^th all-time in assists with 362 as a Lady Wildcat. She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She also graduated from UTC in 2010 with a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree. She joined Bethel Athletic Training staff in August of 2010. She was named Director of the department in August 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lynn Seat, her maternal grandmother, Joy McDearmon, her paternal grandfather, Pete Seat and her uncle Steve McDearmon.

She is survived by her loving wife, Kayci Rae Rezac-Seat of Huntingdon, TN; her twins, Slater Lynn and Sloane Rae Rezac; her mother, Susan Seat of Paris, TN; a sister, Celia Seat-Hensley of Newbern, TN; 2 brothers, Paul (Kelly) Seat of Parker, CO, and Adam Seat of Paris, TN; 2 nephews, John Andrew Hensley and Matthew Seat; 3 nieces: Adalynn, Chloe and Claire Seat; her maternal grandfather, William McDearmon; her paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Seat; loving aunts and uncles Ellen (Tim) Akin, Kathy (Randy) Morgan, Greg (Scott) McDearmon, Diane (David) Blankenship and Danny (Cathy) Seat; several beloved cousins; sister-in-law Lindsey (Ryan) Crouch; father and mother-in- law Frank and Kim Rezac.
