Teresa Jane Moore-Pruitt, 68, of Decatur, Alabama passed away Saturday October 5, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Thursday October 10 ,2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother Joel Snyder officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 7:30PM and on Thursday from 9:00AM until 10:00AM.

Teresa was born June 26, 1956 in East Chicago, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father Noel Alton Moore; husband Thurman Pruitt and sister Melissa Moore. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama.

She is survived by her mother Marjorie Davenport of Decatur, Alabama; two daughters Brianne (Jerry) Mooney of Matteson, Illinois and Lauren (Aaron Loya) Wroughton of Steger, Illinois; one son Tim (Kim Weinstein) Callahan of Matteson, Illinois; one sister Cynthia Kovach of Decatur, Alabama; four grandchildren Lil Wheeler, Jacob Mooney, Tyler Mooney and Harper Callahan.
