Thomas "Pat" Frensley

Thomas Patrick “Pat” Frensley, age 75, of Fairview, Tennessee, passed away in the comfort of his home on Sunday, September 7, 2025, after a 5-month battle with Glioblastoma. 

Pat is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate of 55 years, Judith Lynn Northen Frensley; three daughters, Dawn (Bo) Rains, Brandi (Hunter) McLemore; and Amber (Matt) Farley, seven beloved grandchildren, Haidyn (Grant), Chance, Bo, Kennedy, Carly, Mason, and Caroline; and his cherished first great-grandson, Beckham. He is also survived by his brothers, Steve Frensley, Scott Frensley, and Christopher Frensley, as well as many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Earl Frensley; his loving mother, Jo Anne Tant Frensley; and his twin brother, Paul Frensley.

Born in Nashville TN, his family moved to California when Pat was just a toddler. At the young age of 18, Pat proudly joined and served four years in the United States Navy based out of Miramar, CA. Following his military service, Pat and Judi moved back to TN where they made their permanent home and raised their family. He worked in many fields, settling with a career as Manager/Director of Loss Prevention for AutoZone and then later CVS Pharmacy where he retired in 2012.

Those who knew Pat knew that his circle of people was not large, but it was strong and unwavering. He was deeply respected by his family, friends, and peers. Pat was a brilliant man—self-taught in many ways, including music, woodworking, and bass fishing. A true man of projects, hobbies, and inventions, he poured his talents into the place he loved most: his home. With precise attention to detail, endless curiosity, and a gift for planning, he became a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and wisdom.

Pat was one of a kind—truly, they don’t make them like him anymore. He was “the most bitchen man” his family and friends had the privilege of knowing and loving. To say he will be missed by his girls- his wife and three daughters- doesn’t begin to cover the depth of their loss. Their hearts are broken, but in his honor, they will pick up the pieces, carry on the Frensley family traditions, and keep Pat’s legacy alive. He is and will always be loved SEVEN. 

A private memorial will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of an incredible man.
