Tim Ashby

Tim Ashby, age 62, passed away November 23 in Franklin. He was born in Milan, TN. to Dillard and Gracie Ashby.

Tim started his career at Reliable Products. He became a journeyman at Bell’s Construction and other construction companies. He also worked on the assembly line and made seat tracks for a variety of companies at Johnson Control’s.

Tim is survived by his son, Steven; sister, Cindy; and brother, Matt; and many nieces and nephews.

Tim loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved nature his whole life and was captivated by the water, land and mostly, trees. Music was a big part of his life in all daily activities. He played the guitar, wrote his music and sang songs to his family. He enjoyed spending time with family and creating special memories with the ones he loved. We will miss all his jokes which put a smile on our face and joy in our hearts.

There will be a special celebration of life for Tim with immediate family only.
