Verlan Jackson

Mrs. Verlan Jackson, 93, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Friday May 10, 2024 at Tennessee State Veterans Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Monday May 13, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Brother Jason Jackson and Reverend Melinda Clarke officiating.

The family will receive friends at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church on Monday from 9:30AM until time of services at 1:00PM.

Mrs. Jackson was born February 26, 1931 to the late S H Spain and Nannie Morse Spain. Preceded in death by her husband James W. Jackson; grandson David Jackson; brothers Raymond Spain, James Lloyd Spain, Jesse Spain, Tom Spain and Sam Spain; sister Louise Hart.

She is survived by two sons Keith (Teresa) Jackson and Mark Jackson both of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; three grandchildren Jeremy (Keshia) Jackson, Erin (Jay) Fields and Kendall (Jeremiah) Davis; eight great-grandchildren Sawyer Jackson, Kate Jackson, Karsyn Jackson, Ellie Fields, Nate Fields, Miriam Fields, Bo Fields and Greyson Davis.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery C/O Scotty Clarke 9470 Terry Road Cedar Grove, Tennessee 38321.
