Willard Ellis

Mr. Willard Ellis, 80, of Westport, Tennessee passed away Thursday March 7, 2024 at Jackson Madison General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Sunday March 10, 2024 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Brother Ronnie Hays and Brother Michael Butler officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Sunday from 12:00PM until 2:00PM.

Mr. Ellis was born March 4, 1944 to the late Elwood Ellis and Willie Gray Brackins. He was preceded in death by his wife Nettie Ellis who passed away July 10, 2022, two brothers Bobby Ray Ellis and James Elwood Ellis; a member of Mt. Comfort Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by three nephews Dale Ellis of Camden, Tennessee, Robert Ellis of Missouri and Johnny Ellis of Camden, Tennessee; one niece Debra Brown of Michigan; sister-in-law Margie (Houston) Davis of Westport, Tennessee and a special cousin Priscilla Ellis of Camden, Tennessee.
