Wilma Cruse

Mrs. Wilma Cruse, 81, of Mixie, Tennessee passed away Sunday August 21, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:30PM Tuesday August 23, 2022 at Henry Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Brother John Sutton officiating.

Mrs. Cruse was born September 2, 1940 to the late Bennie Rochester Ownby and Lena Maxine Townes Ownby also preceded in death by two brothers Tommy Ownby and Bennie Ray Ownby; five sisters June Cooper, Billie Jean Petty, Louise Hastings, Beverly Garner and Maxine Ownby.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Clifton Cruse of Mixie, Tennessee; two daughters Wendy (Shea) Bromley of Lexington, Tennessee and Marcia (Mike) Miller of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister Iris Edwards of Huntingdon, Tennessee; five grandchildren Morgan Bromley, Candace Bromley, Bethany Miller, Ashlyn Miller and Carly Miller.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.
